What I regret from 2009, the abbreviated version:
not moving to the city when I had my impulsive do anything day
taking the convienient albeit boring job in CNY because it was safe
working too much in the studio and ignoring the fact that human interaction is good and a necessity
snow being a big downer on a holiday, life for example New Years Eve
still being in the same place mentally and...
After I got done laughing he looked like I took away his birthday and christmas, to which I had to leave the room for fear of another laughing fit that might just break the poor kids psyche… and I just couldn’t do that this close to the end of the year, don’t want to start the new year with bad karma for making a boy cry

I am crawling into bed to watch Stripes. I’m sad that I am the only one around to appreciate my ideal Christmas, but that is trumped by all the family and friends who diligently sent well wishes and love.
Important lesson of the year: Holidays are nothing without the people you love around to share the little moments.
